Diwan-I- Khas was the hall of Private Audience in Red Fort. It was used by the Emperor to deal with Courtiers and Statesmen. The Hall inside Red Fort has a rectangular central chamber which is surrounded by arches rising from piers. It is here that the famous Peacock Throne was kept.
