Vittala Temple, Hampi

The Vittala Temple at Hampi is the most extravagant piece of architecture of the Vijayanagar Empire. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The pillars of the Temple as seen in this picture each make a different sound when tapped and are popularly called musical pillars of Hampi.
