Pangong Lake is at a height of more than 14000 feet above sea level and cuts across Ladakh and Tibet. Despite being saline, Pangong Lake completely freezes in winter. The spot in the picture is where “3 Idiots” the Bollywood blockbuster movie’s climax was filmed.
